چکیده
The exploitation of diverse cropping practices alongside residue incorporation has remained low among small-holder rural farming households in Sub-Saharan Africa. Three-stratum forage system (TSFS) which integrates forages for animal feeds with food crops is a significant sustainable strategy enhancing incorporation. This study was conducted Busia County Kenya to; (i) determine the effects TSFS on yield diversified grown (ii) to effect growth and physiological responses grown. In system, desmodium, brachiaria grass pigeon peas were peripheral area farm as forages. treatments laid randomized complete block design at two locations 3 years (2019, 2020 2021), t ha-1, plants measured. data collected subjected Analysis variance (ANOVA) SAS software means separated using LSD 5% level significance. Plant vigor, ha-1 significantly higher where residues incorporated than no (P<0.001). results revealed that could be better solution security agro-ecological sustenance. Key words: Three-Strata (TSFS), crop incorporation, security.

An Agro-ecological Simulation Model System
• Abstract. In this paper five different models, as five modules of a complex agro-ecosystem are investigated. The water and nutrient flow in soil is simulated by the nutrient-in-soil model while the biomass change according to the seasonal weather aspects, the nutrient content of soil and the biotic interactions amongst the other terms of the food web are simulated by the food web population d...

rarily checked in 1932 because of the short corn crop in the western Corn Belt in 1931. Indications are that the increase in hog production is now being resumed. Low prices for cows have resulted in the holding back of dairy and beef cows, and breeding stock on farms is now at the highest level in the history of this country. Sheep numbers, which reached a new high record in 1931, were reduced ...

At present, small pelagic forage fish species (includes anchovies, herring, mackerel, sardines, etc.) represent the largest landed species group in capture fisheries (27.3 million t or 29.7% of total capture fisheries landings in 2006). They also currently constitute the major species group actively fished and targeted for nonfood uses, including reduction into fishmeal and fish oil for use wit...
